The WXAXRXP Sessions series features 10 selected radio sessions to celebrate 30 years of Warp Records. You can even buy individual sessions if you like.
But as a skinflint and non-vinyl guy, I was delighted to learn that there is also a 10-track taster - WXAXRXP Sessions Sampler - available digitally.
And of course, there's some rare AF Aphex Twin on it.
Slo Bird Whistle was recorded for John Peel's show in 1995. It did appear during the great SoundCloud dump of 2015, as 11 Slo Bird Whistle[peel Sesh] by user18081971, but this is the first time you can get it well hi-fi like.
Anyway, the WXAXRXP Sessions box set came out on Friday (15th November 2019) as did the WXAXRXP Sessions Sampler. Tracklist for the latter is below...
