It pains me to say that I'm not that psyched about it. Where as last year's fabulous festival had Animal Collective, Four Tet and Hawkwind, this year's leads with Flaming Lips, Joanna Newsom and Billy Bragg.
All artists I'm meant to like but don't actually give two figs about. Compare this to Bestival which has Hot Chip, LCD Soundsystem and ROXY FUCKING MUSIC. The one act on the Green Man bill that does pique some interest is Beirut.
It must be stated that it is early days, with more acts to be confirmed and that music is only one part of the festival. So I'm hanging back for the meantime, before I unleash the ceaseless nagging to go to Bestival.
