I watched Guardians of the Galaxy last week for my birthday and while there's some whacking great plot-holes in it, the movie is still an enjoyable romp.
All the more so for the music in it, which plays a central role in the film. I'm not alone in thinking this as the soundtrack album has just got to number one on the Billboard 200. I was going to say it's a mix of unfashionable tracks from the mid 70s but nothing really falls out of fashion any more. Decide for yourself, as someone has done the honourable thing and posted it on YouTube.
